After a career in business, finance and administration in the USA, South America, Europe and the UK, Gerry and his wife Ligia, a linguistics teacher, moved to Midhurst in 2007. They continue to enjoy overseas travel and the arts, especially the theatre and classical music concerts. Gardening and reading also occupy much of their time; in addition Ligia paints on porcelain and on canvas. They have two sons, William and Charles, respectively an army officer and a priest. Gerry served for several years as our Treasurer and was elected as a churchwarden in October 2020.
