Safeguarding Lead

Kirstin Bosley serves as the Parish Safeguarding Officer for Midhurst Parish Church, where she plays a key role in promoting a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all members of the church community. Working closely with clergy, church leaders, volunteers, and the Diocese of Chichester, she helps ensure that safeguarding policies, training, and procedures are implemented effectively and in accordance with Church of England guidance. Kirstin is responsible for supporting safer recruitment processes, maintaining safeguarding training records, and helping to ensure that all those working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults are appropriately trained and supported. She is committed to fostering a culture of awareness, vigilance, and care, where safeguarding is understood as a shared responsibility across the whole church community. A member of the Parochial Church Council and an active contributor to parish life for over 20 years, Kirstin brings a strong commitment to the wellbeing of others, helping Midhurst Parish Church remain a place of sanctuary, trust, and pastoral care for all who worship, volunteer, and participate in its activities including Sparks Sunday school and Messy Church for children and families.
