Worship with us from home

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, we have been offering a Sunday service online via ZOOM. This was initially a response during the period of time when people were isolated and confined to their homes, but we are continuing to offer this in and out of lockdown.

Everyone is welcome to join in with these online services. You can keep your camera on or not as you choose. The format is easy to follow and the service sheet is available to download below.

Please note: There is no online service when there is a 5th Sunday in the month. On the 5th Sunday of the month, we ‘Love Midhurst’ by having a short (15 min) service in church followed by activities that bless our local community. For more information about how you could be involved, please contact us.

How do I use Zoom?

Zoom works very much like Skype or FaceTime. There are various ways that you can use zoom…

On your Apple iphone/ipad – go to the AppStore and search zoom download the one that says ‘zoom cloud meetings’. Once downloaded open the app. It will give you the options to join a meeting, sign in or sign up. I would suggest that you sign up, but you don’t have to. Just before the time of the meeting, you can just hit join a meeting. When you do, you will need to enter a meeting ID which you will have been sent in an email or you can find at the top of the service sheet.

On your Android phone or tablet – exactly as above but through the Google Play store.

On your PC/Laptop/kindlefire etc – either click on the link in the email that you’ve been sent by the church, or go to https://zoom.us/ and click ‘Join a meeting’ at the top. Enter the meeting ID that was in the email. It will instruct you to download the app and sign up. However, if you don’t want to do that, another option to access the meeting through your browser should appear.
