Giving is an important part of belonging to a church and following Jesus. Our giving is a response to God’s generosity towards us. By giving we show our care for our community and neighbours, and we share in building the kingdom of God though the ministry of our local Church. Making a regular financial contribution to the work of the church is not only biblical but a very practical way of supporting the church as it supports our community.

Midhurst Parish Church could not run without faithful giving from generous parishioners. The mission and ministry of our church depends entirely upon giving and fundraising at a local level. There are many ways that you can can give, but we would encourage you to sign up for one of the regular giving schemes to help us to plan for the future.

Regular giving
through PGS

We love the Parish Giving Scheme!
Used across the Church of England, PGS is a Direct Debit scheme that makes regular giving easy for the donor and the church.

Giving by Standing Order

If you would like to give by standing order, please download the form below, print it and fill it out, then return it to our Assistant Treasurer, Lorraine Graham by post or email.

Giving by cash or cheque

Giving regularly by cash or cheque is best done using the numbered envelope scheme. To find out more, and receive a set of envelopes for this year contact our Assistant Treasurer, Lorraine Graham.

Leaving a legacy donation

A gift in your will is a generous way to help the church continue to grow in years to come.
Legacies often provide the money that kick starts new projects or blesses the church at a time of difficulty.

Become a Friend of the Church

Our Friends are those who see the historic and community value of our church building and give to ensure its continued upkeep and development.
Could you become a Friend today?
