Assistant Churchwarden

I grew up in South Africa, a member of a large, happy family. After University I taught for three years in South Africa meeting my future husband along the way. We were married in 1965 and came to live in England. We have 3 wonderful children and I am very proud of our 5 grandchildren. I taught Mathematics for 30 years and then, on retirement, worked in the library at Chichester College. We came to live in Midhurst in 2003 but, sadly my husband died early in 2005. We found the church here a wonderful friendly, supportive place and soon I was given the job of church secretary. I am now also assistant church warden. I enjoy my church work and also all kind of craft, quilting, sewing, reading and gardening.
